ABOUT ME:
Let’s get real. I’m not going to sit here and tell you about me and my perfect life because lets face it, that would be a lie. No one has a perfect life because we are all humans and humans are imperfect. I am your everyday girl, or woman I should really say. I’m real, out there and I don’t sugar coat shit. There are days when I don’t want to get out of bed, days when I don’t want to go to work, and days I don’t really want to deal with the kids, the husband, or people. I’ve been lied to, screamed at, cheated on, screwed over and let down in my 45 years on this earth. I am however, a fighter, or as my daddy would say, a bulldog. My motto in life these days would be “it is what it is”. I figure you gotta learn to roll with what your dealt with, once you do that, life can throw whatever it wants at ya.
WHY BLOGGING?
I started this little blog here for a few reasons. It’s my outlet, my very own little piece of cyber space where I can let it all out. We’re gonna talk about marriage, parenting, and lifestyle here. I’ve read I’m suppose to narrow it down and pick a “niche” but for now I’m rolling with it this way. I have an abundance of life experience in a ton of different areas. You may be asking yourself what that means for you, well for starters it means that you’ll be able to find EVERYTHING in one place! Okay, maybe not everything but you get the gist of what I’m saying. I’m also hoping to help inspire women to live their best life and to find their “Happily Ever After”, all while trying to make this my part time gig. Can you say “side hustle”, ha. I’d love to be able to work from wherever I am in the world and not have to stay home and punch a clock while my hubby travels for his job. Our kids are just about grown now, so it’s my turn to enjoy adult life now. We have had one hell of a roller coaster ride in our lives over the last 25 years of our marriage and the stories here are going to be inspired by that journey. Now I just have to figure out how to get them from brain to story form and soon! I have high hopes that by taking you all on my journey that I can help inspire you to be true to who you are, to not worry too much about what others think, and to live life to the fullest giving it everything you got, doing it all while living your happy life.
I’d like to welcome you to share your stories, or to ask questions. I’m always here to lend an ear or to offer up some of my life experiences and I’ve got plenty! Let’s get to know each other a little better because everyone could use another friend. So buckle up, this is going to be a wild ride with twists, turns, a couple of loops turning life upside down, along with some uphill battles thrown in, and it is all on a never ending track.
